INTRON-D, the digital communication system from INDUSTRONIC

The utilisation of digital technology both in the central exchange and the peripherals makes the INTRON-D the universal system for all areas of communication within a company. The heart of the INTRON-D system is the digital central exchange unit which allows you to connect different subscriber units for various applications by a cost-effective 2/4 wire link.

The advanced electronics result in an extremely compact central exchange unit. The electronics for the connection of 24 subscribers could, for example, be housed in a common PC tower if required.

The standard equipment of the exchange unit comprises both digital linecards and analog interfaces, thus allowing an easy connectivity with existing intercom systems as well as with transmission systems based on wireless or inductive radio.

Each central unit can manage up to 192 digital or analog subscribers, all of whom can communicate at the same time without any disturbance.

Continuous monitoring of all lines guarantees that failures like short circuits, parting of a cable, bad data connections, unconnected stations, etc. are immediately recognised and indicated at the display of the central unit. For an easy diagnosis, the system status at any time can be queried from the diagnosis memory of the exchange unit via an external PC. Thus the time-consuming check of components and search for cause of failure can be avoided.

Field stations are available as weatherproof IP 65 models, Explosion Proof models and also as desktop models.

Furthermore, additional units like tone generators or voice recorders can be connected in order to realise complex public address systems.

The open system with its modular construction further provides the possibility to interchange with public or private telephone networks.
